- The Cracker Factory is set like a jewel above the 19th Century brick streets that line Alton’s historic downtown. Take a stroll and explore the unique restaurants, local craft breweries, museums, art galleries, antique shops, and entertainment venues, or enjoy a birds’ eye view of the nearby wetlands.
- Joyce Rebeta‐Burditt's first novel, “The Cracker Factory,” is a cross between “Lost Weekend” and “One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest,” with a touch of “Fear of Flying” thrown in.
The Cracker Factory is a truly amazing and unique venue that hosted both our Wedding Ceremony and Reception. Our event had just under 250 guest and went off seamlessly from start to finish. We had many guest from out of town who couldn't have better things to say about the venue and how the gallery was setup for our wedding.

The Cracker Factory Wedding
Recently, a downtown renaissance has ensued with the additions of Seaport Village, Horton Plaza, our bay front convention center, the Manchester Grand Hyatt, and Petco Park (home of the Padres). Old Police Headquarters is now open to the public with its eclectic shops and restaurants such as Season’s 52, which is only a block away from the Cracker Factory. Future redevelopments in the area include four super blocks at the Navy Broadway complex which will greatly expand the amenities in the Marina District.
